INNEROUTER
This is dream grunge. Influenced by all the dark, dreamy, heavy, noisy, textured bands that I loved growing up, this is an ode and another step forward in that legacy. Grateful to be collaborating with some of my favourite people, this is my favourite project to date. In June of 2024 we released our first album 'Get Real' on CD, however the full album will not be available digitally until the end of the year. In the meantime we will be releasing a new piece of content every week.
TPRIL
This is my solo project. Primarily centered around melancholy acoustic songs that I can perform live on my own, but also as a catch-all for ideas that don't make it onto band albums, or producing/mixing/mastering/remix work I do for others. Check out my Work section for more info.
THE WIND WHISTLES
With this indie-folk duo I recorded 4 albums and undertook more touring than I ever care to do again. In the beginning, the songs were homages to existing old-timey rootsy styles traditional to the genre, but as time went on the songs got more personal and reflected our true influences. While me and Liza are still good friends, only one of us is still actively producing music, so this project is semi-retired with the solo performances and the probability of some low-key releases coming up.
SUZUKI JACUZZI
This was a collaborative project with Kirsten (now Innerouter drummer) and Leo Fontanilla (our excellent jazz drummer friend) and it's a total genre mashup. It's difficult to explain what exactly this project is; an electronic jazz alternative hybrid? We released one album, but are sitting on a second one which will inevitably surface sooner or later. I'd also class this project as semi-retired, and also with songs to be released in the future.
